What is the ideal timing between treatments?

During an initial course of four ketamine treatments, the medical team generally recommends spacing treatments apart by one week. Treatments can be taken closer together if depression or anxiety symptoms begin to reemerge prior to one full week.

After this initial course, you and your Clinician will develop an individualized treatment plan to best meet your medical needs. This commonly begins with treatments spaced two weeks apart, while you continue to calibrate your response to treatment. The duration of effect following each treatment differs by individual, and those who experience benefits lasting several weeks or months may choose to extend the timeline between treatments accordingly.
