Mindbloom clinicians are licensed by the relevant governing professional board or organization in the states where they practice.   • Is Mindbloom a primary care practice?

    • No, Mindbloom is intended to be used as a complement to–not a replacement of–your primary healthcare provider. We recommend keeping your primary healthcare provider informed on any medication prescribed by one of Mindbloom’s partner clinicians. 
  • What is a psychiatric nurse practitioner?

    • A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a nurse who has completed a master's or doctoral degree program and received advanced clinical training in the specialty of psychiatry. Psychiatric NPs can autonomously evaluate patients, diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe treatment to manage mental health conditions and perform psychotherapy. They are also guided by nursing principles that emphasize wellness and treatment of the whole person.

What is the difference between my clinician and guide?

    • Mindbloom guides are a direct point of contact throughout your program. They are experts in supporting ketamine therapy with a variety of educational backgrounds. From preparation through integration, your Guide is with you each step of the way.
    • Mindbloom clinicians are licensed medical experts in psychiatry and ketamine therapy. They are trained to create appropriate and personalized care plans for eligible clients. Clinicians determine whether ketamine treatment is appropriate for each individual.
